Domestic situations sometimes get pretty intense, and officers found themselves investigating one where some pretty frightening threats were made by an angry woman.
Deputies from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home after witnesses said a woman called and made threats. It stemmed from a claim that someone gave the reporting party’s son a gun to allegedly shoot the woman’s son.
The family said they had no idea what that was about, but the woman told the resident that she didn’t mind going back to prison when it came to her son and that she planned to get her guns and light up the house to take the people she perceived threatened him out. She told one person in the home that they should duck to get out of the way.
Officers were familiar with the situation as the woman had called them earlier to say she had a problem but planned to take care of it herself.
Officers took information for a report.
