A woman who landed in trouble for smuggling drugs into jail found herself in trouble again for violating probation.
Back in November of last year, Jodie Stover-Gullett pleaded guilty to charges she tried to bring a fentanyl-related compound into a government facility in exchange for a chance to enter a diversion program.
As part of the deal, she agreed to avoid alcohol and drugs, pay a monthly supervision fee, and court costs.
However, she failed to make any of the agreed payments. Portsmouth Police took her into custody at a Campbell Avenue residence on charges of probation violation.
This was her 8th trip to the Scioto County Jail. Previous charges include telephone harassment, possession of drugs, conveying prohibited items into a detention facility, multiple counts of probation violation, obstructing justice, driving under a suspension, disorderly conduct, and obstructing official business.
