People reported multiple incidents of women lying on the ground over the weekend.
A witness reported a woman lying in the alley behind the 6th Street Carryout. When officers arrived at the alley, the woman said she got hot from walking around and decided to lie down and take a nap.
At 5 pm, callers spotted a suspicious person near the Sunset Bowling Lanes. Police took the man into custody for drunk and disorderly conduct.
At 5:30 pm, officers and EMS were called to a rehab facility after a patient overdosed in the bathroom. The victim agreed to meet with the drug crisis response team and seek treatment.
Around 7 pm, witnesses spotted a woman lying on the ground in the parking lot of Alexandria House. When officers arrived, the woman told them she was homeless and taking a nap. Police gave her directions to the homeless shelter.
