Twenty-five birds died in a horrific dog attack on Tatman-Coe Road in McDermott.
Just after 8 pm, a caller reported their neighbor’s dog attacked their flock of birds. The caller said 24 ducks and one goose died in the attack.
The attack apparently occurred the previous night. The caller said she heard her own dogs barking in the middle of the night but did not get up to check what was happening.

She described the neighbor’s dogs as a German Shepherd, a brown dog, and a white husky mix. She did not witness the attack.
Deputies passed the information on to the dog warden.
