Woman Pistol-Whipped on Kendall Avenue
It was a rough day for women in Portsmouth. Here are a few calls pulled directly from the Portsmouth Police Cheif’s Daily Briefing
A woman contacted police at 10:53 am to report an assault at Kendall Avenue Apartment. She told officers that a man and two women pistol-whipped her and took the keys to her car before leaving the area.
An officer observed the vehicle pulling in by the laundromat. They confirmed an open warrant on the man and dropped off two juveniles.
Woman Threatened with Bat
A woman flagged down an officer near the Big Sandy Superstore to report being threatened by an unknown man.
She was traveling south on Chillicothe when a young man sitting on the ground near OSCO said, “Bitch, you know you got the right one, whore.”
The woman had a video of the incident. The man had a metal baseball bat with him. Police could not locate the man.
Dirty Old Man
At 12:26 a Campbell Street caller reported an older man driving a Kia with a dealer plate propositioning and harassing her.
She claimed he held up money and asked her if she wanted a good time. An officer spoke to the girl’s mother but was unable to locate the suspect.
