EMS and Officers were called to the scene of a serious accident in Harrison Township just before 6 pm.
Witnesses said a vehicle had flipped over and was now in a ditch. Further, they were advised that children were injured, and power lines were down.
When the Minford Fire Department arrived at the scene, they reported that there were live wires on the ground. Dispatch immediately contacted AEP.
EMS personnel asked for an air ambulance to be put on standby and requested another squad to come to the scene. No other squad was available, so dispatch contacted Portsmouth Ambulance to send a crew.
An EMS squad transported a victim to meet an air ambulance at the airport at 6:15 pm.
