A couple seemed to be quite upset about their order at the Taco Bell in Wheelersburg. Their tirade lasted 2 days.
According to police reports, a vehicle driven by a blonde female was yelling at staff along with her male passenger. To put an exclamation point on their hostility, the report says, they threw a cup of soda pop at the drive-thru window.
The manager gave a description of the vehicle and said the General Manager would be asked to ban them from the store.
The building was not damaged and no injuries were reported to the staff.
Deputies were called the next day about the pair. Reportedly, a staff member heard through the grapevine that the couple were going to return to the store with a gun.
Law enforcement was alerted after a staff member told management.
A few hours later, there was a Snapchat post of the subject holding a gun and continuing to make threats.
A deputy was dispatched to patrol the area and keep an eye on the situation. Thankfully, there was no further incident at that location.
But wait, this story isn’t over yet.
Multiple bomb threats were reported to the Portsmouth Taco Bell a few hours after the last Wheelersburg incident.
Both a Detective and a Captain were altered.
Officers were dispatched to the scene. According to the General Manager, they had received multiple calls in rapid succession every 5 to 10 minutes.
The facility and its perimeter were thoroughly inspected.
Following an open discussion with everyone, the General Manager decided to remain open.
