A man stopped for suspicious activity, ended up getting a bit of good news. Just after 8 am, a caller reported a man wearing shorts squatting on the corner with his legs sticking out into traffic.
When police caught up with them, he said he was having trouble with his feet. Officers observed no signs of intoxication. However, they did discover that a lost purse turned in at the police station belonged to him. A lost purse turned in by a good Samaritan belonged to the man. Police returned the property.
Then, around 4 hours, later a passerby flagged down an officer and told them a man on the Grant Bridge told her he was planning to jump off the bridge.
After a search, police located the man at the Park Apartments. It turned out to be the same man police returned the purse to.
