Teen Gets Drunk – Grandma Calls Cops
Some Scioto County grandparents decided to practice tough love when their grandson came home intoxicated.
They contacted police just after midnight, requesting that a deputy and someone from juvenile probation come to their home.
It turns out the boy had come home drunk from a friend’s house. At first, the grandparents wanted the people who gave him access to alcohol charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. However, by the time officers arrived, they decided not to press charges.
They said the boy’s father was going to give him a good talking-to and tell him not to hang around the boys who gave him alcohol.
