Baby Airlifted to Hospital After Dog Bite To Face
A frightening incident involving an 18-month-old child on Allard Street Friday night. Just after 5 pm, a call came in that a dog had bit the baby in the face.
After assessing the child, EMS personnel called for an air ambulance and met the chopper at the landing zone in Allard Park.

The air ambulance transported the child to Cabell Huntington Hospital for Treatment.
The Health Department advised that the animal be quarantined but could not take the dog into its care as the dog pound was full.
