Trouble at Frank & Steins
Just before 1 am, Frank & Steins Lounge contacted the police to report a man who refused to leave the property. Police arrived on the scene and barred the man from the property.
However, the man returned an hour later and sent a text message to an employee saying, “Let’s play.”
Officers returned to the scene and took the man into custody for disorderly conduct.
Assault Reported at JJs Shenanigans
Just after 2 am, officers received a report of a man hitting a woman at JJs Shenanigans. Officers caught up with the people involved on 10th Street, but the victim refused to cooperate with the police.
However, the mother of the victim called the police later about the matter, and officers went to the bar to speak with witnesses and to retrieve video of the incident.
About an hour later, a woman, who refused to give her name, called the Sheriff’s Office and said the domestic was still going on and the man had a gun.
When officers responded to the home, the woman told them that everyone was fine and no one had a gun. She did not wish to speak to the police.
