Man Arrested For Assaulting Uncle
Police responded to Robinson Avenue at 12:25 pm after a man told police his nephew assaulted him and took off running.
Three units responded to the scene and managed to catch up with the nephew. Officers took him into custody for assault.
Screams in the Night on Summit Street
Police responded to the 1500 block of Summit Street after witnesses reported screaming behind some apartments.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to transport someone to the hospital.
Two Overdoses Reported Within 5 Minutes
Individuals under the influence kept officers busy. At 11:43 am, a 6th Street caller said an apparently high man parked his car and then left on foot.
A second caller told officers the man was on the porch of a 7th Street home. Police took the man into custody and went looking for his vehicle.
At 11:56 am, officers responded to Robinson Avenue for a report of a man overdosing.
Three minutes later, police and EMS answered another overdose call, this time on 7th Street.
Just after 6 am the following day, officers headed to Franklin Avenue for a report of a man not breathing. Residents of the home managed to revive him with Narcan. An ambulance transported the man to the hospital, and officers arranged to have his vehicle towed.
Woman Says Ex Pulled Knife, Slashed Seat, Vandalized Car
A woman contacted officers just after 2:15 pm to report that her ex-boyfriend had followed her to the 200 block of 2nd Street, where he pulled a knife and stabbed the seat of her car.
She said he then used the knife to scrape the outside of her car. Officers took information for a report.
Two Injured in Robinson Avenue Crash
Two people were injured in a crash in the 1200 block of Robinson Avenue just before 11 pm on Friday.
Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and officers arranged for the damaged vehicles to be towed.
Police issued a citation to the at-fault driver.
