Man Passes Out In Caddy With Gun in the Front Seat
Officers responded to a report of a man passed out behind the wheel of a Cadillac in the 700 block of 8th Street early Sunday morning.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the vehicle was running, and there was a gun on the front passenger seat.
Police Arrested Matthew Fraulini, 21, for using a weapon while intoxicated and improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Officers attempted to contact the owner of the vehicle, but were unsuccessful, so they had the vehicle towed.
Woman Refuses To Vacate Home She Lost To State
A Scioto Trail resident has refused to leave a home she lost to the state in a court proceeding. Officers stopped by the home to serve an order telling the woman to vacate the property immediately.
They explained that anything left in the house by the end of this week, would be lost since the house will be boarded up.
Officers said the woman was defiant and refused to cooperate with them.
Drug Activity Reported on Franklin Avenue
A concerned citizen contacted officers to report individuals dealing drugs from a Franklin Avenue home. The caller said a man and a woman were staying in the home of an older woman whom they were abusing and taking her money.
She claimed the man had just been released from a halfway house. Officers checked and discovered the man was currently under court supervision. They forwarded the information to parole authorities.
