Man Busted for Public Indecency -36th Arrest
A man with a long history of arrests found himself back in the Scioto County Jail on Tuesday, charged with two counts of public indecency and possessing drug paraphernalia.
This was 42-year-old Vages Martin’s 36th visit to the Scioto County Jail. He was arrested on April 1st on the same charges but released after 2 days.
Previous arrests include multiple counts of drug possession and probation violation, obstructing justice, criminal trespass, assault, contempt, violating a protection order, and burglary. Bond was set at $2500.
Truck Window Busted Out on Mt. Tabor Road
Police responded to Mt. Tabor Road at 1 pm for a report that someone had busted the window out of a pickup truck overnight.
Officers determined the vehicle belonged to the finance of the woman who made the complaint, so they told her to have him call to file a report when he got off work.
Police Come to Aid of Troubled Vet
A troubled veteran contacted officers around 2 pm and asked if he could speak to someone in person as he wasn’t sure if he wanted to continue living.
Officers determined he had no weapons and had made no threats to himself or others, he just needed assistance in finding some help.
Police gave his family a number for a veteran’s hotline.
