Overdose at the Scioto County Jail
Just after 7:45 pm on Saturday, officers at the Scioto County Jail called 911 to report an inmate overdosed. Two doses of Narcan were administered to revive the woman.

Portsmouth Ambulance did not have a crew to respond, so dispatch contacted EMT Ohio.
The Ross County Jail also dealt with an overdose incident at their facility on Sunday night. Reports say multiple individuals overdosed, and EMTS and OSP responded to the scene.
