1. Man Arrested After Hit and Run
At 8:30 pm, a caller reported a blue Camaro hit her vehicle and took off toward Division Street.
Officers caught up with the driver about 20 minutes later and took a man into custody on an open warrant. Police took information for a report.
The man was booked into the Scioto County Jail and immediately released.

2. Body Discovered on Chillicothe Street
EMS and officers responded to Chillicothe Street for a report of the discovery of a deceased person in an apartment.
Medics fixed the time of death at 3:46 pm and officers notified the next of kin. Police spoke with the Scioto County Coroner’s Office and received permission to release the deceased to a local funeral home.
