Officers and EMS responded to a Kent Street apartment for a report of an overdose. Medics were unable to revive the man, and he was declared dead at 6:40 pm.

The Scioto County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene to take possession of the deceased and transport him to Montgomery County for further forensic investigation.
Officers impounded items from the scene, took photos, and interviewed witnesses for the investigation.
