Officers responded to the 1700 block of 6th Street after a caller reported a woman crawling around and speaking gibberish.
A few minutes later, a second caller reported the woman had moved on to 5th Street.
Officers caught up with the woman on 5th Street and arranged for an ambulance to take her to the hospital for drug-related issues.

Three hours later, callers said a man was in the middle of Jackson Avenue beating a stick on the ground and screaming. Officers took that man back inside his residence.
While they were on that call, a citizen flagged them down to report another intoxicated person on Williams Street. However, police were unable to locate him.
