A driver tried to flee the scene of an accident on the Scioto Trail, but she didn’t get far.
Unbeknownst to the driver, a detective saw her pull out of her parking space at the Portsmouth Vision Center and strike another car in the lot. The driver kept going, despite the fact the detective followed her and turned on lights and sirens and yelled at the driver to stop as she’d hit a vehicle.
The driver did a U-turn and headed onto Kinney’s Lane, but two other officers stopped her. Officers obtained the woman’s license and insurance information.
