Medics headed to Alexandria House just after midnight for a report that a woman had overdosed. When first responders arrived on the scene, the woman refused further medical attention.
Police received another overdose call just before 10 a.m. Witnesses said a man had overdosed on 8th Street and was not breathing. The man also declined to go to the hospital for further treatment.
Fifty minutes later, EMS responded to the Royal Inn for a report of an unresponsive woman. Medics treated the woman, but she refused to go to the hospital.
Right before 3 p.m., a caller reported an overdosed man who was not breathing at 6th and Adams Streets. Fire Department medics administered Narcan and revived the man. The patient refused to go to the hospital but did agree to talk to a response team from the counseling center.
Around 9:30 pm, medics responded to a report of a woman overdosing at an Offnere Street Apartment. Medics transported the woman to the hospital and PPD officers impounded several items at the scene.
