A female passenger was still inside the car, but fortunately, EMS personnel were able to get her out.
About 45 minutes later, a report of an accident on Swauger Valley Road came in. Officers and EMS located a man who said he was thrown from the vehicle but was fine. Police noted he appeared to be intoxicated.
At 4:42 am, a call came in for a motorcycle accident with the driver in a ditch on St. Rt. 7e. The caller said the driver wasn’t wearing a helmet and was bleeding from the head.
EMS and deputies responded to the scene. Medics said the motorcyclist’s wounds were superficial and he refused transport to the hospital.
