A concerned citizen was not happy with police response after she spotted a dog locked in a pickup truck at Noble Family Farms just before 3 p.m.
The caller said the passenger side window was barely cracked and the dog was there for almost an hour before employees found the owner to check on the animal.
Officers spoke with the owner and noted that the dog seemed fine and it left with the owner. The person who reported the incident was very upset and said they would take the issue to social media. Further, she said she’d also called the dog warden.
Deputies said they would follow up with the dog warden’s office.
