A man found himself behind bars after officers responded to a report of a man with a gun on 7th Street at 11:30 p.m.
Witnesses said Mikkie McClurg threatened them with a gun and fired multiple shots.
Officers checked his home and found a shotgun and shells, which they impounded. Police took him into custody for aggravated menacing.

Police responded to another gun threat at the Oasis Convenient Mart just half an hour later. Callers reported a man had pointed a gun inside the store.
Police held Brandon Smith at gunpoint across from the store and took him into custody for aggravated menacing and drug possession.
