Just after 1 pm, officers received a report that a wanted man was walking around Mabert Road carrying a backpack.
Officers caught up with James King in the 2200 block and took him into custody for an open warrant.
They also impounded an item from the 40-year-old man before booking him into the Scioto County Jail for failure to appear.

King’s had three previous trips to the jail, one for probation violation, once for driving under a suspended license and once for a warrant from Pickaway County.
