At 4:30 pm, a Fed Ex driver called 9-1-1 to report she was bitten by a dog while delivering a package on Essman Sugar Camp Road.
She headed to the local firehouse, where they cleaned up the wound and advised her to get stitches. Officers met with the woman and her supervisor to get information for a report. The delivery driver said the dog attacked, causing her to fall from the porch. She said the owner fought to pull the dog off her.
When deputies and the dog warden responded to the dog owner’s home, the dog warden cited the owner for no tags and placed the dog in quarantine.
