When you can’t find your child, minutes feel like hours, and hours feel like a tortuous eternity. As soon as the missing boy was reported, deputies sprang into action to locate him. Your jaw will drop when you find out where they found him.
Just after 5 pm, a panicked father called 9-1-1 to report his young son did not come home after school. The boy was not on the school bus, and he does not drive. The dad said he couldn’t contact the boy. He said he’d already gone to some friends’ houses but couldn’t find him.
A deputy headed to Minford Schools to search for the boy. Around 6 pm, officers discovered the boy sleeping at school. He’d nodded off at school, but nobody had noticed he was still there. Police returned him to his dad.
