A worried daughter called 911 to get help for her mother around 2 am. She said she was on the Messenger app communicating with the woman since her mom didn’t have a phone. The mom said burglars had been in her trailer and were now under it.
The mother sent several messages to various people who also contacted 911 to get help for the woman who claimed she was being robbed.
When officers arrived on the scene, they determined the call was unfounded and that the mom was in the midst of a mental health crisis. Deputies offered to send for an ambulance, but the woman refused.
An officer gave the woman a ride to her daughter’s house. The daughter told the officer her mother had stopped taking her psychiatric medication about two years before.
