Just before 11 am, a caller reported a tattooed man packing back and forth while talking on the phone in front of Tim Horton’s on Chillicothe Street. The caller said they thought the man might be waiting for a drug drop.
However, when officers arrived at the restaurant ten minutes later, the man had left the area.
Officers were called to the car wash at Gallia and Young Streets after a man told people he’d found a phone and that the owner had an accident and couldn’t talk on the phone.

Police headed to the car wash and impounded the phone. They were able to locate the phone’s rightful owner and return it to him.
