A frantic parent called 911 to say he’d dropped his child off at the bus stop but received a call that the child didn’t show up for school. He gave officers a description of the child.
Officers confirmed that the child did not make it to Bloom Vernon Elementary.
After a brief investigation, deputies learned that the school bus driver accidentally took the child to Valley Schools due to a miscommunication.
