Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies were called in to search for a missing daughter after her dad called them at 3 am saying he’d received a disturbing Facebook message. The message said his daughter was found lost in the woods and someone had dropped her off at a house on Shepherd Fork Road.
When officers spoke to people at that address, they said the girl wasn’t there. Deputies searched the area but couldn’t locate her. However, about an hour later, they got a call that said the girl was at another address.
Officers showed a picture of the missing girl to the homeowner. He said the girl was there around 1 am, but he ran her off because she was underage, and she left with friends.
Officers made contact with the girl around 5 am. They gave her a ride back to her mother’s house.
