CPS workers called in Portsmouth Police for assistance just after 11:30 am. They asked officers to meet them at the Royal Inn and then go with them to a Wayne Hills Apartment.
Officers accompanied them to the apartment complex and took a man into custody. Police transported him to the Scioto County Jail.
