A man in the midst of a mental health crisis caused chaos in Lucasville. A worried family member called 911 to report that a man with a history of mental health problems was running down Nelson Road.
A caller said her husband was following the man down the road in a van and was headed down Miller’s Run near Fairground Road.

Officers got a call later that the man had attempted to break into a truck and then another call that he was jumping out into the road and stopping traffic.
When officers caught up with the man across from Gahm’s, they called for an ambulance. Medics transported the man to the hospital.
