We told you last month that officers had arrested a man for stealing his neighbor’s patio furniture in Farley Square. Not long after the woman reported it stolen, she found it on the man’s patio and called the police.
This time, he was the one who called the police. He told officers she was standing in front of his building, and he was afraid to leave. He complained that the woman walked by his apartment every day and looked at him. She did not approach him or have contact with him but he wanted her to stop standing on the sidewalk.
Since there was no protection order in place, officers really couldn’t do anything. They advised the man about the steps for filing a protection order against the woman.
