Angela Wagner Pleads Guilty to Several Counts, but Not Murder
In Friday’s court case, 50-year-old Angela Wagner pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit aggravated murder, burglary, tampering with evidence, and several firearms charges.
Even though the actual charges for aggravated murder were dropped, Angela Wagner pleaded guilty to almost all the remaining charges. Rob Junk, the Pike County prosecutor, announced the plea agreement included a 30-year sentence.
In April, Angela Wagner’s youngest son, Jake Wagner, pleaded guilty to killing five of the victims, but prosecutors have yet to indicate who. He agreed to testify against the rest of his family.
Furthermore, Wagner reportedly led prosecutors and police to the family’s hiding place for weapons and a vehicle used in the crimes.
Like her son, Angela Wagner agreed to testify against her husband, George Wagner III, and her other son, George “Billy” Wagner IV.
They’re both appearing in Pike County Common Pleas Court next week.
