He had turned his vehicle around and was now following the pickup, providing dispatchers with real-time information as the injured woman lay bleeding near the road. The witness reported the truck traveling toward Bond Road, then veering near Kendall Road before pulling into the Marathon gas station. He told dispatchers he believed the driver had shoved the woman out of the vehicle. Deputies later said those steady, detailed updates were critical allowing first responders to reach the victim quickly and giving law enforcement a moving trail to follow.
