Baby Injured in South Webster
A frightening situation in South Webster, after a baby fell off a couch and hit its head.
The caller reported the child was breathing but unresponsive. Dispatch sent an ambulance to the home and put an air ambulance on standby.
However, by the time EMS personnel arrived on the scene, the baby was awake and alert, so they canceled the air ambulance.
Man Says Prison Boyfriend is Stalking Him
A man contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report his ex was harassing him.
He said the two met in prison and had a relationship, but now he’s been released and the man was bothering him. The former flame hadn’t threatened him, but had contacted his family and asked for money.
Officers suggested he contact his ex’s parole officer, but stressed that no laws had been broken.
Woman Arrested For DUI on St. Rte 104
Just before 5 am on Sunday, an officer saw a vehicle swerve out of its lane on St. Route 104. When a deputy pulled the vehicle over, they smelled alcohol and spotted open containers on the passenger seat.
The deputy said the woman had a hard time locating her ID and had difficulty getting out of the car.
Deputies took her into custody for operating under the influence and aggravated possession of drugs.
Tragedy on Duck Run Road
Just before 4 pm, a caller reported an unresponsive person in a home on Duck Run Road. The caller attempted CPR but said they did not believe the person would make it.
Medics confirmed that the patient passed away and transported the deceased to a funeral home.
