1. Bicyclist Hit By Car
At 2 pm, a Hutchins Street female bicyclist was hit by a car. A passerby managed to get the license number.
After a brief search, an officer located the vehicle at CVS, but there was no driver in sight. Police arranged to have the vehicle towed.
The woman came into the police station the next morning at 7 am to give her side of the incident.
2. Bicyclist Hit By Car, Hospitalized
Just before 10:30 pm, officers and medics responded to St. Rt. 73 in West Portsmouth after a woman driver hit a man riding a bicycle.
An air ambulance landed in Singleton Park and transported the victim to a Huntington Hospital.
3. Truck Hits Moped in Lucasville
Deputies, EMS, and medics responded to the scene after a caller reported a truck hitting a moped in Lucasville.
Witnesses said the driver of the truck had headed to his home on West Street. When deputies arrived at the scene, they saw the hood was up and the radiator busted on the truck. However, no one would answer the door.
Medics took the moped driver to the hospital, and OSP interviewed the driver of the truck.
