Weird strange news

A peaceful evening of pasta turned into an all-out bird battle when a family feud over two parrots ended with two women in cuffs and a birdcage reportedly weaponized in the scuffle.

Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1A after a domestic disturbance was called in by a man who had just been woken up mid-nap and found himself smack in the middle of a full-on feather-fueled fiasco.

According to Shalae Fletcher, she was at her stepmother Danielle Fletcher’s house next door when Danielle announced she was giving away the two birds. Shalae wasn’t having it—she claimed money was still owed on those fine feathered friends and promptly reclaimed her parrots.
