A Franklin Furnace man contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office at 6 am to report that his neighbor came into his backyard and was behaving bizarrely. Further, he said the man had been harassing him for several years.

He claimed the man banged on his house and windows late at night, and he suspected he had stolen items.
Officers spoke with the neighbor’s mother, who said her son needed help due to lack of sleep and had agreed to go for a mental health evaluation.
