Body Discovered in Minford
A tragic discovery in Minford just after noon on Monday. A caller reported someone screaming for help because they believed they had discovered a dead body in a home.
Moments later, another caller said they went to check on a neighbor they hadn’t seen in some time and noticed a strong smell coming from the home.

Officers and the Fire Department responded to the scene, where medics confirmed the resident was indeed deceased.
Officers contacted the Scioto County Coroner, who sent a transport to take possession of the deceased.
