Body Discovered in Wheelersburg
A tragic discovery in Wheelersburg. A woman came home just after 10 pm and contacted 911 to say she had found her husband possibly deceased.
EMS and officers responded to the scene. Medic confirmed the man was deceased, and officers contacted the coroner’s office. The coroner released the deceased to the funeral home, who transported the man from the scene.
Garage Sale Customer Rips Off Wallet
Just after 9:30 am, a woman contacted officers to report that a woman stole her wallet at a Collingwood Avenue yard sale. She said the woman wore a shirt from a local construction company and left the scene in a pickup truck.
When officers contacted the company, they explained that the woman fitting the witness description had worked there for over a year, but he was able to give them a name.
The woman missing the wallet said she’d drop all charges if the suspect returned the wallet. When officers spoke to the suspect, she denied having the wallet.
The victim decided not to press charges as she was unlikely to get the wallet back.
