Brenda Tomlin, 79, of Atwater, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, with her children lovingly by her side.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Paul Tomlin; her parents, Jean and Leonard Johnson; and her sister, Barbara Craig.
Brenda is survived by her beloved children, Michael (Jamie) Tomlin and Elizabeth (Wayne) Moore. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Zakary Tomlin, Taylor Tomlin (Francis Ellis), Justin Moore, and Goldie Moore, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her dear siblings: Diane Sharrer; Joseph (Carolyn) Johnson; Lori (Roger) Strange; and Beverly Kapitanovich.
Brenda was a loving sister, devoted wife, nurturing mother, and adoring grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent together—whether gathered around the table, celebrating holidays, or simply enjoying one another’s company.
She found great happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Brenda enjoyed reading, sewing, decorating her home with warmth and care, and creating welcoming spaces where family and friends felt loved. Her hands were rarely still, and everything she touched carried her special touch. Previous member of Sandhill Christian Baptist Church, Brenda lived her life grounded in faith, kindness, and quiet strength. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she extended to everyone she met.
Brenda will be forever loved and deeply missed by all who knew her.
Cremation Arrangements have been entrusted to D.W. Swick & Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Wheelersburg. Graveside Service will be Saturday, June 06, 2026, 11:00AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace.
