Cheryl Lemon, 67, of Wheelersburg went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at SOMC Hospice Center after an extended illness. She was born February 4, 1956 to the late Leonard and Billie Roe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Roe.
Cheryl was a faithful member of Lily Chapel and Sunshine Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Wheelersburg High School and a former Assistant Manager with WesBanco in Ironton. Cheryl was a faithful and loving wife and mother who loved going to church, baking cakes, going to family gatherings, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 46 years, Michael Lemon. She is also survived by three brothers, Larry Roe, Richard (Lisa) Roe, Jeff (Carol) Roe and one sister, Kelley (Donnie) Smith. She is also survived by her three children; Melissa Sissel, Mary (Dustin) Henry and Michael Lemon Jr; her six beloved grandchildren, Audrey, Alayna, Addison, Evelyn, Eleanor and Silas as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday July 21, 2023 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Jamie Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 5 to 8 PM and one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
