An angry mom called 9-1-1 after she said her 6-year-old child was attacked while waiting on the bus to church.
The woman said a neighbor brought her injured child to her, saying she’d found him on the ground. The mom said a group of kids jumped the boy while he was waiting for the bus. The mother said the kids in the area acted like “hood rats.”
When officers spoke to the neighbor, she said she saw a bunch of kids fighting and found the boy lying on the ground. The boy was not home when officers arrived. Deputies took information for a report.
Another upset mom flagged down officers after she said two tween boys were riding around on electric scooters and bullying her son and his friends. She said the boys were slapping children in the head and cussing them out.
One of them pushed her son off his bicycle, resulting in an injury. She reported that the kids cussed at and flipped off other neighbors before taking off on their scooters.
