Officers responded to a report that a child had been turning up at Patties and Pints and Oddfellows to ask for food because the child said its parents had nothing edible in their fridge.

Employees confirmed the child had been coming there more and more often and that employees were concerned.
Officers contacted CPS, and workers said they would conduct an investigation. An officer took the child home and left it in the care of its grandparent.
