An eight-year-old Wheelersburg girl contacted 9-1-1 to say her parents were fighting. She said she was in a blue vehicle with them. While the child was on the phone, the mother grabbed the phone and hung up. There was no answer when dispatch tried to call back.
Multiple calls were made to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office and Portsmouth Police from several children regarding some type of incident.

Some of the calls were indicating a medical emergency while others indicated some type of argument. Dispatch could hear people yelling in the background.
Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Porter Township Rescue Squad headed to the scene. When deputies arrived, they discovered there was no fight. It was only a medical emergency.
