A mom contacted PPD at 8:30 p.m. to report that her 11-year-old child had run away. Officers took information for a report.
Just after midnight, she called police to say the child was home. When officers arrived on the scene, they woke the sleeping child to have a little talk and were shocked at the condition of the home.
