Child Snaps in Bad Living Situation – CPS Called In
Portsmouth Police officers discovered children living in a bad situation when they responded to a report of a domestic incident at a home.
One child called the police to report a sibling had busted a mirror and was assaulting family members with glass.
When police arrived at the home, they learned the child had busted a mirror out of anger. Medics checked out the child, who was not injured. The mother also told officers her boyfriend was hit with an ashtray, but police observed no injuries.

However, officers noted that the children were living in very poor conditions and contacted CPS to follow up.
It was decided that the children would go to their grandmother’s house for the time being.
