1 City Worker Finds Lost Child Wandering on 8th Street
A Portsmouth City worker contacted police at 10:30 am to report they’d discovered a lost 4-year-old child wandering at 8th and Harmon Streets.
The child was returned to their grandmother. Police thought the incident was an honest mistake but warned the woman if it happened again, charges may be filed.
2 Threats Reported at Park Apartments
A resident of the Park Apartments contacted police at 3 pm to report that another building resident had threatened him.
Police noted the caller seemed intoxicated. They discovered the feuding pair lived on separate floors and were not in contact at the time. They advised the man to contact building management to inform them of the situation and explained the process of filing a protection order.
