Multiple local families called the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office when their kids refused to go to school.
Just after 8:30 am, a man said his child was being unruly and refusing to go to school. When officers arrived at the home, they talked to the child about an upsetting family situation that was troubling him and managed to calm him down.
The child agreed to go to school with his father.
Half an hour later, a Franklin Furnace father said his child had refused to go to school. He said the boy’s ride was running late and when he tried to find out why, they got into an argument.
The mom said she’d take the child to school and then file unruly charges with Juvenile Court.
